Role:
The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by expertly preparing and serving a wide variety of beverages in a fast-paced country club environment. This position requires maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area while adhering to all safety and sanitation standards. The Bartender will engage with homeowners and guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Additionally, the role involves managing multiple orders efficiently, handling cash and payment transactions accurately, and collaborating with other team members to support smooth service operations. Ultimately, the Bartender contributes significantly to the establishment's reputation for quality service and fine dining ambiance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced hospitality or food service environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service. Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift or carry heavy items safely. Reliable attendance and punctuality with a commitment to maintaining a groomed and professional appearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in country club service settings. Certification in responsible alcohol service or bartending courses. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to enhance guest interactions. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, taking orders, and making recommendations when appropriate. Manage inventory by restocking supplies and notifying management of shortages or discrepancies. Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately and responsibly. Comply with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions while lifting and carrying heavy items as needed.
