Bartender - Cask Taproom, Berkeley (Tue/Thu/Sat) Cask is hiring a dynamic, hospitality-driven team member for a bartending shifts at our Tap Room , located on College Avenue in Berkeley. The Cask Tap Room is a neighborhood craft beverage outpost nestled between Rockridge and Elmwood. We serve a rotating selection of curated pours inspired by the specialty bottles available in our retail shop, along with craft wines and beers. Our focus is on guest experience and education. Bartenders help customers discover new favorites and connect what's in their glass to what's on the shelf—often encouraging a bottle to take home. Cask is a boutique retail store specializing in small-production and hard-to-find spirits, wines, beers, and bar tools. Our retail staff provides welcoming, knowledgeable sales support to both enthusiasts and industry professionals.
Responsibilities:
Schedule is Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday (between 2 pm and 10.30 pm) Tap Room Shifts Provide friendly and informed bar service in a casual, craft-focused setting Engage guests with product knowledge and personalized recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar environment
Qualifications:
Previous hospitality experience, ideally in both bar and retail environments Strong interest and baseline knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, or beer Outgoing, adaptable, and confident in guest interactions Comfortable using point-of-sale and other basic IT systems Enthusiastic about being part of a team and growing your knowledge
Benefits:
