About Marea Global hospitality firm Altamarea Group is seeking passionate hospitality professionals to join the team at Marea Beverly Hills, the first U.S. expansion of the iconic Marea outside of New York. About the Role Marea Beverly Hills is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Barback to support our award-winning bar team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment, takes pride in organization and efficiency, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring bartenders have everything they need to provide seamless service. Key Responsibilities Support bartenders by stocking liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, ice, and bar supplies throughout service. Prepare fresh garnishes, juices, syrups, and other bar ingredients according to Marea's standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including workstations, storage areas, and service stations. Wash and polish glassware while ensuring adequate inventory during service. Replenish inventory and communicate supply needs to management. Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking, cleaning, and preparing the bar for service. Remove empty bottles, glassware, and waste promptly to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. Assist bartenders with guest needs while maintaining Marea's standards of hospitality. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and carry supplies throughout the duration of each shift. Essential Duties Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in accordance with health and safety standards. Follow all opening, closing, and side work procedures. Work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, food runners, and management to ensure smooth service. Maintain professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail throughout each shift. Participate in pre-shift meetings and stay informed of menu, beverage, and operational updates. Positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional hospitality. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and lunch shifts as needed. Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain one in accordance with California regulations.
