Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales. Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep our offerings fresh and exciting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. Assist with food service when needed, including serving appetizers or snacks during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs for procurement to ensure smooth bar operations. Experience Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine types, craft beers, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and adhering to health regulations within the food industry. Previous roles involving beverage sales, cash handling, and basic math for processing payments accurately. Knowledge of hospitality industry standards related to serving alcohol responsibly and maintaining a safe environment for all guests.
