Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Part-Time Bartender to join our Bistro team at the brand-new Courtyard by Marriott Chino Hills. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for mixology and guest service, with experience in fine dining, hotels, or high-energy hospitality environments, or sportsbars. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating memorable guest experiences by preparing high-quality beverages, engaging warmly with guests, and maintaining a welcoming, professional atmosphere in a fast-paced setting. This role is perfect for someone with a friendly personality, strong communication skills, and a genuine dedication to customer satisfaction This position is for two days a week from 4:45pm to 10:15pm
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with Marriott brand standards and local regulations. Provide excellent guest service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and cared for. Take and serve food orders when needed, supporting Bistro operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and work area. Accurately handle cash and credit transactions. Comply with all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Qualifications:
Valid California bartending license / certification (Responsible Beverage Service - RBS certification) required. Prior hospitality experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Availability to work evenings (5:00 PM - 10:00 PM), including weekends and holidays. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
