Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, checking product freshness, and tracking usage to minimize waste. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events like banquets and catering functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption levels. Assist with bar management duties as needed, including scheduling and training new team members. Experience Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously. Experience handling cash transactions accurately along with basic math skills for retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within the food industry. Previous experience in fine dining settings or catering environments is highly desirable. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service standards.
