We are seeking dependable, energetic and highly team-oriented Busser/Utility team members. This is a multi-functional restaurant support position that includes traditional bussing responsibilities, barback duties , cleaning, stocking, food running and general front-of-house and restaurant support. About This Position The Busser/Utility position is designed to support the entire restaurant team , particularly during peak-volume periods. This is not a position limited to clearing and resetting tables. Depending on what the restaurant needs at any given time, a Busser/Utility team member may be bussing tables, running food, restocking service areas, assisting behind the bar, replenishing ice, removing trash, cleaning guest areas, organizing supplies or helping another team member complete an urgent task. Flexibility and teamwork are essential to this position. Server/Bartenders maintain primary responsibility for their guests, tables and front-of-house service responsibilities. The Busser/Utility position provides additional support so that the entire restaurant can operate efficiently during busy periods. Dining Room & Guest-Service Support Clear, clean, sanitize and reset tables efficiently. Assist with maintaining tables throughout service. Refill water and provide routine table support when requested or needed. Run food to guests accurately and promptly. Assist Server/Bartenders with clearing dishes and glassware. Maintain clean and properly stocked service stations. Keep tables, chairs and surrounding dining areas clean and guest-ready. Assist with maintaining the entrance, waiting and other guest-facing areas. Recognize areas requiring attention and respond without waiting for every task to be specifically assigned. Assist Server/Bartenders and other team members during periods of high guest volume. Help ensure departing tables are cleaned and reset quickly for incoming guests. Barback Responsibilities The Busser/Utility position also serves as barback support when needed.

Responsibilities may include:

Replenish ice throughout the shift. Stock and restock beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, mixers and other bar supplies. Restock clean glassware. Collect and transport dirty glassware to the appropriate washing area. Return clean glassware to the bar and appropriate storage locations. Restock napkins, straws, coasters and other bar supplies. Assist with replenishing garnishes and other non-alcoholic preparation items as directed. Maintain organized bar storage and supply areas. Remove trash, recycling and empty containers from the bar. Break down and dispose of cardboard and packaging. Maintain cleanliness of floors and work areas surrounding the bar. Retrieve products and supplies for Server/Bartenders when needed. Assist with opening, restocking and closing the bar area. Communicate immediately when bar supplies are running low. Support Server/Bartenders so they can remain focused on preparing beverages and taking care of guests. The Busser/Utility employee does not independently prepare or serve alcoholic beverages unless specifically assigned, legally eligible, appropriately trained and compliant with all applicable alcohol-service requirements. Takeout & Delivery Support When needed, Busser/Utility employees may also assist the team with takeout and third-party delivery operations by: Gathering appropriate packaging and supplies. Assisting with packaging completed orders as directed. Organizing completed orders in designated pickup areas. Restocking takeout containers, bags, utensils, napkins and condiments. Keeping delivery and takeout staging areas clean and organized. Assisting Server/Bartenders with order handoff during busy periods. Cleaning, Stocking & Utility Responsibilities Sweep, spot-clean and maintain restaurant floors throughout the shift. Clean spills promptly and safely. Empty trash and recycling and maintain appropriate waste areas. Restock restaurant supplies throughout the shift. Assist with receiving, moving and organizing supplies when needed. Maintain clean and organized storage areas. Assist with routine cleaning of restaurant equipment, fixtures and work areas. Support dishwashing operations when needed. Transport dishes, glassware, utensils and other items between restaurant work areas. Assist with opening and closing cleaning procedures. Complete assigned side work. Help maintain restrooms and other guest-facing areas according to restaurant procedures. Immediately communicate spills, broken glass, equipment problems or other safety concerns to management. Team Support — A Core Responsibility Fuse Social operates with a highly team-oriented service model . The Busser/Utility position is expected to assist wherever support is reasonably needed to keep the restaurant operating safely and efficiently. In addition to the responsibilities specifically listed above, Busser/Utility employees may be asked to perform other reasonable duties and tasks related to restaurant operations as required by the team and management , provided the employee is appropriately trained and legally permitted to perform the task. This may include assisting Server/Bartenders, kitchen employees, dishwashers, managers or other team members when additional help is needed. At Fuse Social, the expectation is: If something reasonably needs to be done and you are able to help, help. Team members should not ignore a dirty table, full trash container, empty ice bin, food waiting to be run, low supply, spill or teammate who clearly needs assistance simply because the task is not normally considered "their job." At the same time, employees are expected to follow management direction, applicable safety procedures and training requirements and should not perform tasks for which they have not been properly trained or are not legally permitted to perform. Qualifications Previous restaurant bussing, barback, utility or support experience preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of restaurant responsibilities. Ability to work quickly while maintaining cleanliness and safety. Strong situational awareness and ability to recognize where help is needed. Ability and willingness to work as part of a highly collaborative team. Comfortable transitioning between dining-room, barback, cleaning, stocking and other restaurant-support responsibilities. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to communicate effectively with Server/Bartenders, kitchen employees and management. Ability to work effectively in an energetic restaurant and sports-viewing environment. Must obtain and maintain any food-handler certification required for assigned duties under applicable law. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform the lifting, carrying, bending, reaching and repetitive tasks normally associated with restaurant bussing, barback and utility work, with or without reasonable accommodation. The Person Who Will Succeed in This Position The strongest Busser/Utility team members at Fuse Social will be people who notice what needs to be done and take appropriate action . This position is ideal for someone who does not want to stand around waiting for a manager to assign every individual task. During a busy service, priorities can change quickly. You may spend part of the shift resetting tables, then help restock the bar, run food, replenish ice, clear glassware, organize takeout supplies and return to the dining room as volume changes. The goal is not simply to be a good busser or barback. The goal is to be a reliable utility player for the restaurant team who helps keep Fuse Social clean, stocked, organized and operating efficiently.
