Bartender - POGU (Full-Time / Part-Time)

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Bartender who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a strong team culture. Position Overview As a Bartender at POGU, you will be responsible for preparing beverages, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining accurate sales and cash handling practices . This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and professionalism at all times. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests Maintain full knowledge of drink menus, ingredients, and preparation methods Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to all guests Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process payments Ensure all drinks are properly accounted for and charged Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area at all times Restock bar inventory and communicate supply needs to management Follow all company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards Qualifications Previous bartending experience preferred (1+ years ideal) Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and accountability Must be reliable and punctual Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification (or ability to obtain) Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage + tips Flexible scheduling (Full-Time / Part-Time) Growth opportunities within the company Why Join POGU?
