The award-winning Forbes 4-Star and AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Banquet Barback to join the Banquets Team! Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle. The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in-room dining. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Prepare fresh ingredients: Cut, slice, and peel garnishes and fruits, mix juices, and place all prepared supplies in designated containers Keep the bar stocked: Work closely with the bartender to ensure the bar is stocked with essentials like glassware, ice, produce, condiments and paper products
Manage Beer Kegs & Taps:
Transport, replace, and maintain beer kegs and taps to ensure uninterrupted service Assist with inventory management: Retrieve orders from the storeroom, visually check stock, reconcile with written requisitions, and re-check upon delivery Keep bar and storage areas clean: Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas Comply with regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member well-being
