Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and upselling where appropriate to enhance their experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments efficiently, and manage cash handling procedures in accordance with food safety and sanitation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to sanitation regulations and food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while maintaining excellent guest relations Engage with guests proactively to foster a welcoming atmosphere, address inquiries promptly, and resolve any concerns professionally Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing Extensive cocktail experience with spirits knowledge and beverage service expertise Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations effectively Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs seamlessly Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations Experience with wine knowledge and upselling techniques to increase sales revenue Previous experience using reservation platforms like OpenTable is a plus Strong communication skills paired with a positive attitude that energizes team dynamics Join us to be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
