Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Barback. In this dynamic role, you will be the backbone of our bar operations, ensuring a seamless experience for both staff and guests. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help maintain a lively, clean, and welcoming environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, food service, and customer interaction within a vibrant nightlife or event setting. You will support bartenders by maintaining supplies, assisting with food and beverage prep, and ensuring the bar area is spotless and organized. Your proactive approach will contribute to the overall success of our venue, creating memorable experiences for every guest. Duties Restock and organize bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and utensils to ensure smooth service flow Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, garnishing, or assembling menu items in accordance with safety standards Support bartenders by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and maintaining a clean bar environment Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing orders and payments efficiently Handle cash transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service during busy night hours Maintain cleanliness of the bar area through regular cleaning duties including wiping surfaces, cleaning glassware, and trash disposal Support catering or banquet events by setting up stations, serving guests, or assisting with food handling as needed Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments such as restaurants, bars, or hotels is highly preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience working in nightclub settings or catering environments enhances your ability to thrive in this role Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is essential Prior roles involving bussing tables, serving guests, or supporting kitchen operations demonstrate your readiness for this position Excellent communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude are key to providing top-tier customer service Experience with banquet setups or hotel food service adds valuable insight into managing diverse event needs Join us to be part of a lively team where your energy makes a difference!
