Job Description
Bartender Position Summary As a Team Member of the Food and Beverage team, the Bartender is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure all of their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional Guest service while following all policies and procedures and meeting health and safety standards and regulations. The Bartender ensures their bar is kept clean and stock is properly stored, rotated, and unexpired. Bartenders must process orders and transactions on point-of-sale systems; additionally, must retain knowledge of acceptable forms of identification for alcoholic beverage service and will card all Guests who appear to be under the age of 30. Position Functions Essential Functions Ensure exceptional Guest service and teamwork through a positive demeanor. Curate creative drinks with exceptional delivery. Ability to engage with Guests, providing recommendations and enhancing their experience. Accurately check identification of Guests who appear under 30 years of age and prevent underage service. Adhere to strict regulations related to alcohol service and gaming laws, ensuring responsible service and being aware of security protocols within the CRCR atmosphere. Prepare and serve various beverages, including cocktails, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring precision and quality in each preparation. Follow provided approved drink recipes when dispensing drinks; garnish beverages as needed per business standards and recipes. Monitor Guests for signs of intoxication and disruptive behavior, identify when to refuse alcohol service in a safe and courteous manner, and report it to management. Prepare Guest checks through point-of-sale systems and process Guest payments. Ensure the bar area is clean, well-organized, and stocked with necessary supplies; this includes keeping barware, glassware, and ingredients at the required levels. Responsible for, but not limited to, ensuring all operational equipment (including, but not limited to, liquor guns, points of sale, blenders, keg lines, refrigeration units, etc.) is functioning properly. Consistently keeps glassware, condiments, and fresh garnishes cut and replenished. Complete all side work tasks. Communicate with management professionally and involve them in Guest recovery issues immediately. Other duties as assigned. Skills Strong listening and communication skills. Must be able to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining business standards. Demonstrates a flock mentality, focused on teamwork and collaboration with others.
