Job Description

JOB SCOPE
Responsible for providing Food and Beverage service in the bar and service areas.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Report to department, meeting the dress code and appearance standard, set by the company. Check with your manager for any important information related to the hotel or your department. Greet guests according to the standards. Apply food and beverage handling rules. Position the liquor in display properly. Cut garnishes, fill up juice containers (if needed) Check the music (volume) and adjust it according to the number of guests in the bar. Constantly walk the bar and service areas to pick up dirty glasses or plates. Prepare accurate checks, follow cashiering procedures. Restock the bar fridges with items such as straws, glasses, cups, condiments. Completely understand and follow the department and hotel standards. Take responsibility to keep the bar and service areas clean at all times Coolers Floor and floor mats Drains (not clogged) Trash containers (rinsed) Sink Back area Cabinets, shelves and the counter Retrieve food items from the kitchen. Collect dirty items and brings them to the dishwasher. Maintain guests satisfaction his/her top priority. Take the initiative to serve the guests at the bar and beyond the bar countertop.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a full service, high quality bar, club, lounge or restaurant 1 to 3 years experience in a related area OR a combination of experience and education that provides the skills required for this position Fluent in English, any other language a plus. Requires strong organizational skills and must be able to work independently. Must meet management expectations on customer satisfaction and problem solving attitude. Capable of being discreet and cooperating with guests and staff. Shows the willingness to learn and always willing to help others.
