Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting our wine stewards and ensuring that the bar and our private tasting space operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a team-oriented atmosphere. Responsibilities Assist wine stewards preparing for service. Maintains cleanliness and organization of all spaces, including setting tables for creative experiences, breaking down wine boxes, washing and polishing glassware, utensils, and equipment, keeping outdoor spaces looking neat. Stock and replenish supplies such as wine and glassware Busses tables in the private tasting space and regularly brings dirty glasses from the bar to the back of house for washing. Regularly checks the bathrooms for cleanliness and restocks supplies Helps wine stewards pack up guests wine order and is always careful to double check for correctness Communicates effectively with team members to ensure seamless service. Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and customer service. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
