Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and energetic Beer and Wine Taproom Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. This part time role involves providing exceptional customer service, serving beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for hospitality. Applicants must be available to work weekends. This position offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where your skills in serving, POS operation, and customer engagement will be valued and developed. Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure Take food and beverage orders, providing detailed descriptions and recommendations when appropriate Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including processing payments and giving correct change Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption Assist with setup, breakdown, and restocking of supplies during shifts Engage with guests to promote sales of beverages and merchandise, enhancing overall sales performance Uphold all food safety regulations and sanitation standards in accordance with industry best practices Skills Experience with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently Proven sales ability with experience in promoting products within a hospitality setting Background in wine, beer industry or food service environments is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in fast-paced environments.
