A Bartender mixes and prepares cocktails and serves drinks to customers. Works with other wait staff in a bar or restaurant; checks to be sure that customers are legal drinking age. May work at private parties.
We are seeking a highly responsible, punctual, and experienced Bartender to manage our full-cycle bar operations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience and is fully capable of opening and closing the bar independently. We need someone dependable who can execute precise setup and teardown checklists, manage cash drawers, and maintain our high standards of service from the first pour to the final cleanup.
JOB DETAILS
Opening Procedures:
Set up the bar environment by setting up stools, wipedown surfaces, and organizing the service well. Prepare fresh ingredients , including cutting fruit garnishes, making syrups, and refilling ice bins. Count and verify the opening cash drawer to ensure register accuracy before service begins. Check inventory levels and restock beers, wines, liquor bottles, and glassware for the upcoming shift.
Service & Execution:
Mix and serve classic cocktails, craft drinks, wine, and beer accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent hospitality , engaging with guests and handling orders attentively. Verify guest identification responsibly to strictly enforce legal drinking age laws. Process payments securely using our POS system, managing tabs accurately.
Closing Procedures:
Break down and sanitize the entire bar area, including wells, speed rails, draft lines, and glassware. Secure liquor inventory , lock up expensive bottles, and ensure storage areas are safe. Reconcile the closing cash drawer , balance the night's sales, and safely drop the cash deposit. Complete final facility checks , ensuring all lights, music, and bar equipment are turned off, and the venue is fully locked up.
Required Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of professional bartending with prior experience handling open/close checklists.
Availability:
Flexible schedule with guaranteed availability for early opening and late-night closing shifts .
Trustworthiness:
Proven track record of handling cash responsibly and managing building security keys/codes.
Efficiency:
Strong time-management skills to complete setup and teardown tasks within allotted timeframes.
Certifications:
