Liquor Retail/Bartender

Overview Sonoma's Best is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Liquor Store Associate & Bartender to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has an interest in beer, wine, and spirits, and thrives in a social environment. You'll split your time between retail sales and bartending. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers discover new favorites, understands upselling techniques, and can create a personalized shopping experience. Duties Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Lead the bar by demonstrating excellent customer service skills, fostering a welcoming environment for all guests. Manage Square POS to process orders efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures. Maintain inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; coordinate with vendors for timely restocking. Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and company policies related to alcohol service, including responsible serving practices. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender or in food service; retail math skills are essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Experience with beverage programs including cocktail crafting is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events like catering or banquets.
