Duties Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such TOAST. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist in beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote a safe environment. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, and spirits. Proficiency with POS systems including TOAST for processing transactions efficiently. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during busy hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that enhances guest satisfaction. Previous fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable; experience in food handling, catering, or banquet settings is a plus. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing food costs effectively.
