Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their dining experience and promote beverage sales. Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and handling cash safely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times. Develop new beverage recipes and experiment with craft beer pairings or cocktail creations to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and glassware; communicate needs for restocking or ordering supplies promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or hospitality industry background. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cash handling and cashiering is essential. Extensive cocktail experience with skills in mixology, beverage recipe development, and spirits knowledge. Familiarity with wine service, craft beer varieties, and beverage presentation techniques. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods; strong organizational skills are a must. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math related to inventory control.
