Overview :

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Barback to join our dynamic team at Bottega. As a Barback, you will play a vital role in supporting our bartenders, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the bar, and providing excellent service to our guests. Key Responsibilities :

Bar Support :

Assist bartenders by replenishing stock, cleaning glassware, and keeping the bar area clean and organized.

Stock Management :

Maintain inventory of liquor, beer, garnishes, and supplies; ensure timely restocking throughout the shift.

Customer Service :

Provide excellent service to guests by assisting with drink orders when necessary and communicating effectively with the team.

Cleanliness & Sanitation :

Ensure the bar area is cleaned and organized at all times. Assist with breaking down the bar at the end of the night.

Handling Equipment :

Ensure that all bar equipment is in good working order and notify management of any issues.

Waste Management :

Help with the disposal of empty bottles, trash, and recyclables in a timely and responsible manner.

Teamwork :

Work closely with bartenders, servers, and other staff to ensure that the bar runs smoothly and guests have a positive experience.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant environment preferred but not required. Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. Flexibility with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
