Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock, replenish, and maintain minibar inventory in guest rooms according to hotel standards Accurately record consumed items and ensure proper posting of charges to guest accounts Remove expired or damaged products and ensure freshness standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organization of minibar carts, storage rooms, and assigned areas Monitor par levels and communicate restocking needs to supervisors Follow all alcohol handling laws and company policies Report maintenance issues or room concerns to the appropriate department Provide courteous, professional interaction with guests when encountered Comply with all casino security procedures and internal control policies
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated experience working in the food and beverage industry. Demonstrated experience problem solving, organizing, and prioritizing work. Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or the equivalent in education or experience. One (1) or more years of recent and related food and beverage experience, preferably within a hospitality or gaming environment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY
Decisions are limited to within the scope of essential duties.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent customer service skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Essential duties involve performing physical exertion, including frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, kneeling, squatting, crouching, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties involve working in a small, confined area used to prepare food with floors that may become slippery in the process. Essential duties require lifting up to 50 pounds to stack, store, or move kitchen, restaurant, or general office supplies and equipment. Essential duties involve a flexible workweek with additional hours occasionally required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Essential duties involve working in a small, confined work area and kitchen environment with large numbers of people. Primarily in an inside environment, which is frequently loud or contains high noise levels, odors, and a commonly hot or cold work environment.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED
Equipment typical of a kitchen and restaurant, including but not limited to: POS system, knives, spoons, forks, glasses, plates, pitchers, and various cleaning supplies.
