We just launched Pearl Provisions (pearl-provisions.com) — a curated market built around cheese, charcuterie, and the kinds of products that turn a bottle into an experience. We're family-owned, hospitality-rooted, and we source exclusively from family producers. This isn't corporate wine retail. This is a neighborhood wine shop where people matter.

THE ROLE

We're looking for a wine steward and sales clerk who loves talking about wine, building relationships with customers, and creating memorable retail experiences. This is a front-line role — you'll be the face of Pearl Wine Company for everyone who walks through the door. What you'll do: Guide customers through wine selections — ask questions, make recommendations, educate Manage daily retail operations and point-of-sale transactions Build relationships with regulars and welcome new customers Help with merchandising, stocking, and keeping the shop looking sharp Learn our cheese, charcuterie, and provisions selection to support cross-selling Support wine club fulfillment and member engagement What we're looking for: Genuine passion for wine — you don't need to be a sommelier, but you should love learning Strong customer service skills and a welcoming presence Retail or hospitality experience preferred Self-starter who can work independently and take initiative Comfortable with POS systems and basic retail operations Available for flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends
