Job Overview Nestled in the heart of historic Front Street in downtown Fairplay, Colorado Cantina Tequila Bar and Eatery brings bold Southwest flavors and good vibes to the high country. We're seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Servers to join our dynamic Colorado Cantina Team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Duties Greet and seat guests promptly while providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into POS system correctly. Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring that all orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests. Process payments accurately using retail math skills to handle cash and credit transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods, particularly during banquets or special events. Maintain knowledge of the menu offerings, including food / drink preparation techniques. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout shifts. Uphold all health and safety regulations while serving food and beverages. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred. Proficiency in bartending techniques and knowledge of drink recipes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with common POS systems and hardware desired but not required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs is preferred.
