Bartender

Fruita Western steakhouse needs energetic, upbeat and personable bartender for a full bar in a family restaurant environment. 2 TV's, 10 bar stools and a friendly bartender is where many of our patrons enjoy their meal, relaxing conversation and a little TV. The Strayhorn Grill serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and provides a fun, relaxing western environment. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will utilize your core skills in POS systems, bartending, and food safety to efficiently take orders and serve beverages and meals. Efficiency in making the drinks for a busy restaurant as well as serving your customers at the bar will be a top priority for this candidate. Additional skills in creating seasonal drink specials as well as bar specials for the holidays will be a plus for the ideal applicant. Liquor inventory will be an important component of this position as well. Training will begin in late April or May with set hours beginning in May. Flexibility with your schedule is allowed, however, we are seeking someone who will be a steady, dependable employee for weekdays with flexibility to cover for other bartenders on the weekends when needed.
