Bartender or Server

Job Summary We're looking for an outgoing, knowledgeable bartenders/servers to join our team at a lively Irish pub. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced service, connecting with guests, and bringing great energy behind the bar. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of classic cocktails, beers, and spirits, with serving/bartending experience preferred. A friendly attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure are a must. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience while taking orders accurately using POS systems. Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards. Handle cash transactions accurately through proper cash handling procedures, including basic math calculations for change and sales totals. Maintain a lively atmosphere by supporting dining or banquet events, Follow food safety protocols diligently during food handling to uphold health standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, managing time effectively in fast-paced environments Requirements Strong knowledge of POS systems (specifically Aloha POS); hospitality operations, and cash handling is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently. Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for accurate sales processing and cash transactions; experience with brewing or beverage crafting is a plus. Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving alcohol responsibly and food safety regulations. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays Prior restaurant experience is highly valued.
