Come join the Pine Orchard team! Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club in Branford, CT is seeking experienced Bartenders to join our team for the upcoming season. Enjoy beautiful views of the Thimble Islands while working weddings, member events, banquets, holiday celebrations, and other special occasions at one of Connecticut's premier private clubs. As an Event Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service in a variety of settings, from elegant weddings and large-scale banquets to club social events. Responsibilities include preparing and serving cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, assisting with event setup and breakdown, and delivering a high level of hospitality to members and guests. Duties Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to members and guests Set up, stock, and break down bars for weddings, banquets, and club events Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of all bar areas Monitor inventory and communicate product needs to bar manager Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with all applicable regulations Work closely with servers, banquet staff, and management to execute successful events Handle cash and member charges accurately and efficiently Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment Uphold all health and safety policies related to food safety, food handling, and responsible alcohol service. Experience 2-3 years of bartending experience required Previous banquet, wedding, or private event experience preferred Excellent communication and guest service skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
