Job Description

TPC River Highlands is a private golf club located in Cromwell, Connecticut, just outside of Hartford. The Banquet Bartender provides prompt, professional beverage service at club events, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining strict standards for accuracy, presentation, and compliance. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of bartending experience preferred Knowledge of beverage preparation, bar operations, and sanitation standards Familiarity with responsible alcohol service and applicable laws Responsibilities/Duties Event Bar Setup & Operations Set up and stock banquet bars according to Banquet Event Orders and TPC standards Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout service, including ice, glassware, and supplies Secure bar area and ensure only authorized staff prepare and serve alcoholic beverages Beverage Service Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails accurately using standard recipes, measurements, and garnishing guidelines Provide friendly, timely, and professional service to members and guests Monitor guest consumption and follow all procedures for responsible alcohol service Guest Experience & Compliance Address guest questions and concerns courteously; communicate issues to supervisors promptly Verify legal drinking age and ensure compliance with all State and Federal alcohol regulations and

guidelines Refuse service to intoxicated guests and notify management as appropriate Uphold TPC Brand Standards and all

Golf Course Properties policies Closing & Financial Responsibility Handle cash and process transactions accurately in accordance with company procedures Close and break down the bar, reconcile inventory and consumption, and return unused product to storage Clean and reset bar areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored Additional Duties Attend pre-event meetings as requested Support banquet operations and assist team members as needed Maintain sanitation standards in compliance with all health and safety regulations Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
Base Pay:
