Bartenders needed. Spring is coming! Elicit Brewing in Danbury!!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately
• Monitor customer behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of sales techniques and up-selling strategies
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
• Understanding of food handling and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
• Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
