Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of beverages, provide exceptional customer service, and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help ensure every guest has a memorable experience, whether they're enjoying a casual drink or celebrating a special occasion. The ideal candidate is passionate about mixology, has strong beverage knowledge, and thrives in a fast-paced environment that values hospitality and teamwork. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools, glassware, and supplies are properly stored and sanitized. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cash handling with precision. Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking while adhering to food safety and alcohol service regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate food and beverage service for events or busy periods. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to enhance the bar menu, incorporating trends like craft beer or mixology innovations. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender with knowledge of cocktail mixing, wine service, spirits, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; strong basic math skills for processing transactions and managing tabs. Previous food service experience in fine dining or hospitality industry settings is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts; strong time management skills are essential. Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and alcohol regulations. Experience with beverage trends like craft beer brewing or mixology techniques is a plus. Previous bar management or banquet experience is advantageous but not required.
