We are looking for an experienced bartender who can provide exceptional service during both dinner service and high-volume nightlife events. The ideal candidate is confident behind the bar, works well under pressure, has strong knowledge of cocktails and spirits, and understands the importance of speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and guest service. Candidates should also be comfortable with cash handling, Toast POS, end-of-night closing procedures, and tip reporting. Weekend availability is essential for this position. We are specifically looking for someone who can work throughout the weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, for dinner service, private events, nightlife, and late-night shifts. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently. Provide fast, friendly, and professional guest service during both dinner and high-volume nightlife operations. Maintain strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, wine, standard pours, and beverage presentation. Operate Toast POS efficiently, including entering orders, managing tabs, processing cash and credit card payments, and closing checks. Handle cash accurately and maintain accountability for all transactions throughout the shift. Complete end-of-shift closing procedures, including closing tabs, reconciling cash and credit card transactions, completing bartender checkouts, and ensuring sales and tips are properly accounted for. Accurately report and account for tips and tip-outs according to company procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout the shift. Complete all assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work responsibilities before leaving. Restock liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies as needed. Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management. Check identification and follow all responsible alcohol-service requirements. Monitor guest consumption and maintain a safe and professional environment. Work effectively alongside bartenders, barbacks, servers, security, kitchen staff, and management. Follow all company policies, food-safety requirements, sanitation standards, and responsible alcohol-service procedures. Experience & Requirements Previous bartending experience required; high-volume restaurant, bar, or nightlife experience strongly preferred. Toast POS experience preferred. Strong cash-handling skills and ability to accurately complete end-of-shift checkouts. Experience managing guest tabs, cash transactions, credit card payments, tips, and tip-outs. TIPS Certification required or must be obtained prior to beginning work. Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and standard bartending procedures. Strong basic math skills for cash handling, payments, and tip calculations. Ability to multitask and remain organized, professional, and efficient during high-volume service. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Must be dependable, punctual, energetic, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Must be comfortable working late-night shifts and remaining through closing responsibilities. Availability Weekend availability is required. Candidates must be available throughout the weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and should have flexibility to work: Dinner service Private and special events Nightlife events Late-night shifts Closing shifts Shift times may vary depending on dinner service, scheduled events, and nightlife operations.
