Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender / server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering is highly desirable. You will need to be cross trained to serve also and do both. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Adhere to food safety and handling regulations while preparing drinks and serving food items. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during banquets and special events. Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting. Requirements Previous bartending or restaurant experience is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations in the food industry. Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment.
