Job Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Barback, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional experience for our guests. As a vital support to our bartenders and service staff, you'll ensure the bar area is always stocked, clean, and ready to serve. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute to a lively, efficient, and welcoming environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food and beverage industry while working in a fast-paced, energetic setting. Duties Assist bartenders by restocking liquor, mixers, glassware, and bar tools swiftly and efficiently throughout the shift Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, cleaning glassware, and disposing of waste properly Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment with proper safety techniques Support food preparation and service by bussing tables, clearing empty glasses, and assisting with food delivery when needed Ensure all food handling and safety standards are followed diligently in compliance with health regulations Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing when required Collaborate seamlessly with team members to uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality Skills Proven experience in bar service or restaurant environments, including barista or catering experience preferred Strong knowledge of food handling, food preparation, and beverage service procedures Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently during busy hours Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering purposes Previous banquet or event catering experience is a plus Solid understanding of customer service principles within the food industry Experience working in hotel or hospitality settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly Knowledge of food industry standards related to bussing, serving, and food safety regulations This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in hospitality.
