This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, along with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. Engage with customers, providing excellent service while taking drink orders and offering recommendations. Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed for the bar. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours, particularly during banquets and catering events. Stay informed about new products, trends in the industry, and menu changes to enhance guest experiences. Uphold high standards of hospitality while working in nightclub settings or fine dining establishments. Requirements Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub environment is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS and Micros POS systems is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. Experience in catering or banquet service is a plus, along with an understanding of brewing techniques. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the business needs.
