This is not a traditional server position, and we are not looking for someone who only wants to wait tables. We want experienced hospitality people who can make great drinks, handle a busy bar, take tables when needed and create an exceptional experience for every guest. What You'll Do Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails and other beverages Provide bartending service while also taking care of tables when needed Greet guests and create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere Take food and beverage orders accurately Handle multiple guests and tables during busy periods Process payments and operate the POS system Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked bar Work closely with kitchen, runners, bussers and management Follow responsible alcohol-service requirements Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues quickly Help create the fun, hospitality-driven experience Gas Burgers is known for What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years old 21+ strongly preferred Previous bartending experience strongly preferred Restaurant/table-service experience preferred Comfortable bartending and taking tables during the same shift Strong communication and people skills Fast, organized and detail-oriented Dependable and able to work as part of a team Comfortable working in a busy, high-energy environment Availability for evenings and weekends strongly preferred Positive personality and genuine interest in hospitality We're looking for people who notice what needs to be done and do it — not people who stand around waiting to be told.
