Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience, offering drink recommendations and answering questions about menu options. Manage cash handling transactions using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accuracy in billing and payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment; respond promptly to any issues or concerns that arise during service. Assist with setting up for special events such as banquets or nightclub nights, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders during busy periods, supporting overall restaurant or event operations. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; previous retail math or food industry experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling. Strong knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders smoothly during peak hours while maintaining quality service. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash transactions, tips, and inventory counts. Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude; ability to engage guests in a lively environment while ensuring responsible alcohol service. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or special event hours as needed; nightclub or catering experience is advantageous.
