Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and timely service Maintain knowledge of menu items, including food safety protocols and food handling procedures Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow Assist with food preparation, food safety compliance, and sanitation practices as needed Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Culinary experience or background in food handling and preparation is highly desirable Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours Demonstrated ability in sales techniques including upselling and guest engagement strategies Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, and basic math for cash handling and transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm fuels memorable dining experiences!
