Duties Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly manner and addressing any special requests or dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities. Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at tables or during catering events such as banquets. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service in settings like nightclubs or fine dining environments. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail math is highly desirable; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Strong customer service skills with an outgoing personality and the ability to connect with diverse guests. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper alcohol serving procedures. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs efficiently. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in fast-paced environments like bars or restaurants.
