This role leads and supports the Mountain Room Crew and Bartenders to ensure exceptional hospitality, efficient service flow, and a positive dining experience. The Lead Bartender sets the tone for service standards, team culture, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Assist with overseeing day-to-day operations behind the bar Order and manage bar inventory with guidance from the Food & Beverage Director Train bartenders and bar staff on policies, procedures, and service standards established by leadership Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked bar workspace Ensure bar supplies, garnishes, and products are properly stocked and organized for service Lead and support the Front-of-House team during events such as weddings, private parties, and other functions Provide hands-on bartending service during regular operations and private events Complete required trainings as assigned by mountain leadership Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership Qualifications Minimum 3 years of bartending experience, including experience in private event or banquet settings Strong knowledge of customer service and bar operations TIPS certification required (or willingness to obtain certification upon hire) Ability to work in a high-energy environment while maintaining professionalism Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays Must be eligible to work in the United States Successful completion of background check Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks
