Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glassware, garnishes, and beverages to ensure smooth service. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including bar cleaning, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces to meet food service bar safety compliance standards. Buss tables and clear used dishes or trash from the bar area promptly to keep the venue tidy and inviting. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely and efficiently. Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and setup for events or service periods. Ensure proper food industry safety protocols are followed during all activities, including beverage service and food handling. Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for transactions when required, assisting with cash handling and cashiering duties. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate venue beverage service during busy hours or events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold high standards of hospitality by supporting the team in delivering excellent customer service at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with bar experience, venue beverage service, or catering experience is a plus. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances your ability to support transactions efficiently. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with care. Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and POS operations. Experience with food preparation, food handling, or kitchen work is advantageous. Demonstrated understanding of food safety standards and bar safety compliance requirements.
