Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Barback and Food Runner, where you'll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience through energetic support and seamless service. In this lively position, you will assist bartenders with maintaining bar stock, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting food service operations. As a Food Runner, you'll be the bridge between the kitchen and guests, delivering food promptly and professionally while upholding the highest standards of food safety and hospitality. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. Responsibilities Support bartenders by restocking beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies efficiently to keep service flowing smoothly Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet presentation standards Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation Buss tables by clearing dishes, resetting tables quickly to maximize seating capacity and guest satisfaction Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate timely service delivery Uphold food safety standards by handling food properly and adhering to health regulations at all times Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with knowledge of food handling procedures Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing Prior banquet or catering experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in fast-paced settings Strong communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices Hospitality background or hotel experience is advantageous for understanding guest services and expectations Kitchen experience or culinary background helps in supporting food prep and presentation tasks Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by providing energetic support behind the scenes! Pay:
$16.94 - $18.00 per hour
