  • Woodbury, CT Step behind the bar at one of Connecticut's most historic and beloved dining destinations.
The 1754 House is seeking a passionate, professional Bartender to join our hospitality-driven team. If you love crafting cocktails, connecting with guests, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
Create classic and signature cocktails with precision and personality Provide warm, engaging service to guests at the bar and throughout the dining room Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and stock Upsell beverages and enhance guest experiences through product knowledge and presentation Assist with opening/closing duties and inventory management Work collaboratively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
What We're Looking For:
1+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant setting Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail technique Excellent communication and guest service skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mentality Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required
