Job description Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will craft exceptional drinks, deliver outstanding customer service, and create memorable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Engage with guests warmly, providing excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience. Manage multiple tables or bar stations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity. Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including specialty drinks, wine pairings, and food service options for catering or banquet events. Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and safety standards in all aspects of serving alcohol and food. Assist in setting up event spaces for banquets or private functions, coordinating with kitchen staff for seamless service delivery. Demonstrate strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while ensuring quality service. Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while promoting specials and featured beverages. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or catering environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing. Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in fast-paced settings requiring excellent time management skills. Experience in food safety procedures, food handling, and retail math calculations related to sales and cash handling. Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage trends can be an added advantage for engaging guests creatively. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence; previous banquet or retail food industry experience is beneficial. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events to meet business needs.
