Duties Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including specialty cocktails, ensuring consistency and quality using Micros POS. Take food and drink orders accurately to enhance guest experience. Provide attentive table service by bussing tables, refilling drinks, and assisting with food presentation to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to maximize sales while delivering personalized recommendations based on guest preferences. Handle cash transactions efficiently with cash handling skills, cashiering experience, and basic math proficiency. Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation protocols, proper food handling procedures, and cleanliness in both the kitchen and dining areas. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations during busy nights or events like nightclub evenings. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender or server in casual dining is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Demonstrated ability in food service roles including serving, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or food preparation enhances your candidacy. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality are essential for creating positive guest interactions. Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques is required. Excellent time management skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently during peak hours are crucial for success in this energetic role.
