Role:
The Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by expertly preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment. This position requires maintaining a clean and organized bar area while adhering to all safety and hygiene standards. The Bartender will engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Additionally, the role involves managing inventory, handling cash transactions accurately, and collaborating with other team members to support smooth operations. Ultimately, the Bartender contributes to the establishment's reputation for fine dining and outstanding guest service through consistent performance and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced environment, preferably within fine dining establishments. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and beverage service standards. Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy items. Excellent guest service skills with a professional and well-groomed appearance. Reliable attendance and punctuality with the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in responsible alcohol service or mixology. Experience working in a fine dining or upscale hospitality environment. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and guest preferences. Provide attentive and personalized guest service, responding to inquiries and making recommendations as appropriate. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper documentation. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Work collaboratively with kitchen and wait staff to coordinate timely service and enhance the overall dining experience. Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions while lifting and carrying heavy items as needed.
