Our bar features 12 bar seats & service well, in addition to cocktail tables on the patio. For this role, we are looking for someone experienced, knowledgeable with spirits, great with guests, able to adapt to our bar standards and culture, and, most importantly, reliable. We have a very small, loyal, and responsible bar team, so we are hoping the person we bring in will reflect those same values. The typical bartending schedule would likely include a few weeknights, Friday and Saturday nights, and full Sundays. Flexibility can certainly be discussed, and additional hours may become available through serving shifts and/or additional bar shifts once season picks up after summer. A copy of your resume A signature cocktail recipe you have created, along with the creative process behind it The ability to do a hands on demonstration of one or two classic cocktails behind our bar Requirements 2 years bartending experience in a craft cocktail setting Familiarity with a full spirit bar, wine, classic cocktails, and craft bar technique. Proficiency with POS systems, Toast preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks efficiently during volume and non-volume hours. Ability to work well with others, adapt to our bar practices, and work at the direction of our bar manager. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a positive, approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
