Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Barback, where you'll be the backbone of our bustling restaurant! In this energetic role, you'll support bartenders and service staff by ensuring the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and ready for action. Your proactive attitude will help create a lively, welcoming environment for guests and team members alike. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food and beverage industry while working in a fast-paced, vibrant setting. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking supplies such as glassware, garnishes, and beverages quickly and efficiently during busy hours Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glasses, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash to uphold health standards Support food preparation tasks when needed, including handling light food prep or serving snacks at events or in the nightclub setting Buss tables and clear empty dishes to ensure smooth flow of service during events or regular shifts Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with cash handling and order processing when required Help with setup and breakdown of events, including catering or banquet functions in hotel or nightclub environments Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality roles is highly preferred, especially in nightclub, banquet, catering, or hotel settings Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order management Experience with food handling, cleaning protocols, and basic food preparation techniques Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with guests Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bussing tables or cleaning Knowledge of the food industry standards for safety and sanitation is a plus Previous barista experience or serving background is advantageous but not required Join us as a vital part of our lively team!
