The ideal candidate will have experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting and possess a strong understanding of beverage preparation and customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of service. Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or requests. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces. Operate the Toast POS system for order processing and cash register functions. Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, take drink orders, and offer recommendations. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all legal regulations regarding alcohol service. Assist with catering events and banquets as needed, providing beverage service to guests. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary. Qualifications Previous bartending experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage customers positively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
