Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including polishing glassware, restocking utensils, and filling syrups. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Participate in events, including Josie After Dark's and Cocktail Classes. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; make note of low inventory as needed to ensure stock availability. Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations; ensure responsible beverage service at all times. Skills Experience with building and creating craft cocktails, as well as extensive knowledge regarding classic cocktail recipes, wine varietals, and spirits. Proficiency with Toast POS is a plus, but not a requirement. Strong time management skills to handle busy service periods smoothly while maintaining attention to detail. Willingness to cross train as a dining room server. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively yet professional manner. Experience in fine dining establishments or upscale casual environments preferred. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple orders simultaneously. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
