Hourly/Non-Exempt Job Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service while serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food items in a timely manner Create innovative and creative drink options that meet or exceed guest and members' expectations Provide up-to-date knowledge of daily specials, events, and promotions. Accurately take food and beverage orders and communicate special requests to the kitchen. Serve beverages in a timely, professional manner, garnishing and decorating as needed. Entertain guests while mixing drinks, talking about spirits and offering trivia and history about various alcohols to keep guests engaged and enjoying themselves. Monitor bar area to ensure guest satisfaction, respond promptly to additional requests, and determine when drinks are near completion. Present checks with appropriate script and process payments or post charges to member/guest accounts. Ensure all side work (replenishing supplies, cleaning ice bins, changing kegs, etc.) is completed. Conduct opening and closing procedures in accordance with company standards. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean, professional appearance, ensuring the assigned uniform and nametag are worn at all times. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service. Attend all required meetings and trainings. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to meet business needs. Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and brand service standards. Qualifications/Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have or be able to obtain a ServSafe certification within 30 days of employment Bartending/Mixologist experience of at least 2 years is required; Private/club operations preferred; hospitality experience is a plus. Knowledge of wine and spirits is required. Proficient with POS systems required. Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking, and time-management abilities. English language proficiency is required to perform the essential functions of this position. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions (reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling) for extended periods of time. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required based on hotel needs.
