Job Description

The Players Club & Spa at Lely Resort in Naples is a 15-acre tropical retreat where residents can relax, meet new people, enjoy recreational facilities, and participate in the many programs and activities available. The award-winning Club, totaling over 30,000 square feet, features resort-style pool areas, fine and casual dining, a state-of-the-art fitness center plus spa services, a spectacular tennis complex and an extensive calendar of social events. The Players Club & Spa is hiring bartenders. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic bartenders to provide excellent service to our members. Specific Duties Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available. Requests additional supplies as necessary. Follow set-up procedures. Prepare garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks. Greet members and guests. Mix, prepare and serve drinks according to the recipes approved by the Food & Beverage Director. Collect checks/payment for drinks served. Maintain and clean bar area and equipment. Maintain daily inventory and records indicating drinks in the greatest demand. Clean and lock-up according to prescribed procedures. Other duties may be assigned. Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur. Maintain records of liquors, beers, wine and sundries to ensure bar stock is maintained at all times. Attends staff meetings as required. Follow all food and beverage regulations. Take customer orders Give customers a great experience Make recommendations on what a customer should order Deliver the food and drinks to a customer Have a great attitude with customers Deal with any customer complaints Take into account any customer allergies Accept customer payment Other duties as requested Competency To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Problem Solving

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
